Welcome
I am a New Zealand, self-taught artist who grew up in Manukau City and now lives in Dunedin. Since I was young I have loved art and have carried pencils and paper where ever I went. I created this site to share with you all my artistic journey and development. I started with graphite only and throughout my school years expanded to charcoal, ink-based pencils, acrylic paints, oil paint and printmaking. After university I bought watercolour paints, which has introduced vibrant colours and a joyous element to my artwork. My recent works are semi-realistic with an explosion of colours. This development can be seen in the Gallery; where as you scroll down the page you will go back in time to a monochromatic palette. In recent years I have exhibited my artwork in the Auckland Royal Easter show and been awarded at the Snell’s Beach Exhibition for my “Western Spring Swans” and “Pukeko in the Water” watercolour paintings. I am currently a member and volunteer at the Otago Art Society located at the historical Dunedin Railway Station.
